Veteran

ID Required

To qualify for this fare, please be prepared to show proof of Veteran status with your Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC), Veteran ID Card (VIC), Department of Defense (DoD) ID Card, or a State-issued driver’s license or ID with a Veteran’s designation. A VTA Fare Inspector or VTA Bus Operator may request proof. Any unused pass expires at the end of the 6-month pilot on Wednesday, Nov 12, 2025.

Valid for a single ride on VTA Bus and Light Rail. Once activated, ticket will display for 2 hours. All passes include unlimited FREE transfers within the VTA system for the 2 hour pass duration.
